Pixenate is our flagship product. It's a photo editor with a difference. Walter Higgins is the founder and CEO of Sxoop Technologies. Walter studied Computing at Sligo Institute of Technology and has been working in Software since 1992. Walter spent some time working and living in San Sebastian, Spain before returning to Ireland in 1993 to work at Microsoft. He has also worked at Apple, EMC and small and not-so-small Irish Software companies like CBT Systems (now SkillSoft) and Vistech Software. Walter's background is in software development and project management. Before Sxoop Technologies, he was a senior solutions architect at EMC. Walter has been programming for the web since 1997 and is keenly interested in the creative things people do with their photos.

Ursula Galvin is Sxoop Technologies' user experience maven and resident domain expert. Not many people can claim to have photographed atoms but that's exactly how Ursula got into photography. As well as people and landscapes, Ursula has photographed the smallest things in the world using an Electron Microscope (A camera considerably more expensive than even the priciest Hasselblad). Ursula studied BioChemistry in University College Cork and has a Masters degree in Microbiology.
